Weapons? I'm confused :( - Guild Wars Forums

I've been playing this game for a while now and am a necro/mesmer. I have one really dumb question people don't seem to be able to answer. What weapons do necromancers typically use? What weapons do mesmers use? These are really basic questions, but any answers would be greatly appreciated.

Necros and mesmars use staffs or wands with off-hand items like idols and chakra. Later on you will start seeing requirements on these items, like Cestas will require death magic to wear effectively, and chakra domination.
